A private college counselor, Tali Friedman graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in English.
With a background in test prep and academic tutoring, Tali has been working with students for over fifteen years, both privately and at some of the top companies in New York and Los Angeles.
As a college advisor, she helps students form their schools list, shape their resume, organize the process, and strategize all parts of the application to present themselves most effectively. She specializes in essay writing and focuses on how creative and self-actualizing the writing process can be. Her students have gone on to Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, UPenn, Brown, Duke, Northwestern, NYU, Michigan, etc and they’ve majored in everything from mechanical engineering to musical theater.
Tali is also a writer and an actor. She won the National Jewish Playwriting Competition (2021) and the Tel Aviv Playwriting Competiton (2021), was a finalist for the Geffen Theater’s Writers Room, and is a member of the Road Theatre’s Under Construction playwriting cohort. She has performed on stages all over the country, including The Old Globe, Arena Stage, and the A.R.T., and has been seen on TV in “Shameless,” “American Woman,” and the recent Lifetime movie “A New Orleans Noel.” She lives in LA with her husband and two sons.
